We pride ourselves on enjoying the journey with all our couples, so they feel relaxed and part of the family.
Phil
Owner
Phil is the mastermind behind converting Southlands Farm into the beautiful wedding venue it is today.
He has been involved in every step along the way from concreting to hand cutting all the hanging lights.
Phil oversees all aspects of running the venue and is guaranteed to shed a tear during the ceremony, speeches and first dance.
Jamie
Owner
Jamie is our action man!
We come up with the ideas and Jamie is the one who brings the dreams to reality!!
You will hear us talking about him, but you may never see him.
Jamie also oversees the running of Crowns Mobile Bars & Events Ltd which is part of the group.
Jackie
Venue Organiser
Jackie is mother to all of us, including the chickens, ducks, fish, peacocks, dogs, and is actually Jamie’s mum.
She is the unsung hero and engine room of Southlands Barn.
Jackie will generally be the first person you meet through viewings and works the early shift of every wedding to ensure every last detail is perfect.
Trev
Grounds Keeper / Farmer
Trev is the man who works tirelessly from early mornings to late evenings to make sure the grass is always cut just right.
He is also the farmer (Jackie’s husband and Jamie’s dad), taking care of the 100+ cattle on the farm.
You will also find Trev on car parking duties and taking couples down to our lake for that perfect sunset shot.
Amy
Venue Coordinator
Amy joined the team in 2021 and will most likely be your first point of contact with the barn, from viewings to bookings and then co-ordinating your wedding up to your special day!
Amy grew up across the road from the farm, where her parents still live, so has been a friend of the family since she was born.
Liv
Liv joined us Full time in February 2022!
Liv takes care of all of our business accounts for the Crown’s Group and will be overseeing that your wedding runs perfectly on the day!
Harvey
Harvey has been working at Southlands Farm since our first wedding in 2019.
Harvey wears many hats at Southlands Barn, working the farm with Trevor and Jamie, weddings, Mobile bars and anything else asked of him including the daily wiping of the Lake swing that our wild geese like to perch on!
